[Explosive Dawn] Fall, Week 7 - A Plague Among Us

Greetings,


At the end of Week 7, Explosive Dawn is busy piecing together everything it possibly can to be ready for the soon-coming Prototype Milestone. We are gradually adding on all the bits we need for the game to function. We've got down collision and sound, so that's great. 


Design-wise, we haven't yet defined any new mechanics or anything. We're still focusing on the same things that we were before. I started on our GDD, and I created a first-run draft of art for our game.

I also created the first-run of the set of sounds to be used. These are not going to be posted, but just imagine a bunch of cool retro-sounding "pew!" and "krr!" noises. Music is still a grey area at the moment, but it's still something I need to take care of in one way or another.


One of our dev's was hit with the plague a week ago, and now it's my turn. However, we've been doing our best to rest up and not let illness get us too far behind. I'm still getting my strength back, but things are looking better everyday. Sleep is a magical, wonderful thing.
