[Explosive Dawn] Fall, Week 13 - The End is Nigh

Greetings,

It is the end of Week 13. Our presentation for the First Playable Milestone is this Wednesday, and the First Playable build of our game is due this Friday. Scared? A bit. Ready? Almost. The last two things we need to get done are the UI and the remaining TCR's (technical requirements, basically) required for our project. We're all upping our work hours to be sure that we have everything that we need.

One very exciting addition to the game is the music. One of our programmers' roommate was nice enough to give us one song for this milestone to use in our game. It's a fantastic, high-tempo chiptune that really ups the pace and overall feel of the game. All the sounds blend right in with the music.

With waves of enemies, music, and animations working, Explosive Dawn is getting cooler by the day. I'll be posting screenshots and maybe video of Explosive Dawn at its First Playable state at the end of Week 14.

I have to keep this post brief because I've got a couple of other projects due very soon in addition to the game. The dev's are just as busy with their assignments as well. We're aiming to get through this very hectic week with our sanity in tact (or as in tact as it presently is). See you then! Peace.

Sincerely,
Alicia.
